Joe Shannon Named 2026 Trailblazer Awards Winner for Property Management Australia

Our Founder and CEO, Joe Shannon, has been named the Property Management Australia winner in Real Estate Today’s 2026 Trailblazer Awards.

Awards judged on substance, not popularity

The Trailblazer Awards were designed differently to most industry awards. Rather than a popularity vote, submissions were evaluated through AI led judging with consistent scoring across every entry, supported by editorial oversight. Every finalist scored 87 per cent or higher, and in several categories the gap between winner and runner up was less than one per cent.

That approach matters to us. Recognition based on measurable contribution and execution, rather than profile, is exactly the standard we hold our own work to.

Why Joe was recognised

The award recognises the work TEC does every day: building systems and frameworks that help property management teams reduce admin time, improve landlord retention and scale without burnout, across residential and commercial real estate and strata management in Australia and New Zealand.
