Ray White WA brought its property management network together in Busselton for Propel 2026, a two day conference covering technology, regulation changes and leadership. Our Founder and CEO, Joe Shannon, was asked to both open and close the event.
Opening keynote: Tech Enabled, Human Led Property Management
Joe opened Day One with a session built around a simple position: the point of technology in property management is not to replace people, it is to give them their time back. “By automating repetitive admin, property managers can focus on what truly matters,” Joe told the room. Less inbox, more trust building and complex problem solving, the work clients actually value.
The session cut through the AI noise and gave attendees a practical filter for deciding what to automate, what to keep human, and how to sequence the change without breaking the team.
Closing keynote: Goal Setting
Joe returned to the stage for the conference finale with a high energy goal setting session. Conferences are easy to leave inspired and hard to leave changed, so the focus was on frameworks attendees could apply from Monday morning: turning big conference ideas into concrete daily habits back at the office.

The Propel agenda also featured Ben White on the changing landscape of property management, Zac Snelling with a national update on the Make the Move campaign, Kelly Tatlow on intentional relationship building, Lauren McPherson on leadership at every career stage, and CPD training from REIWA trainer Emma Gilbert.
